Leslie's Blog- Take Two

Blogging. Now there's something I haven't done in a while. I wonder if anyone even looks at my blog anymore. Ever since I got Jbear started with his blog, it seems I've neglected my own. Oh well, life goes on. It's not like I can't pick it up again.
QUICK OVERVIEW OF MY SUMMER
May 6th- attended the Bruce/Cocciardi wedding. Gorgeous bride. Smiling groom. Happy guests. Lots of fun.
May 14th- Mother's day. Lots of excitement as we watch Mom open presents. Lemon cake.
May 15th- picked up Cara for a visit. Went shoppong. Made cookies. Toured Philly. Took pictures. Ate cheesesteak. Lots of fun.
May 19th- improvement with my jaw. Made appointment. Not much fun.
May 22-26th- cleaned like crazy. Planned graduation. Prepared for picnic. Drove myself nuts and took everyone with me.
May 26th- CR and Jess bring Tori to NJ. Cute kid. Lots of shopping. Cute kid! Picnic Saturday. Cute kid!! Distinct evidence of underlying preparation for upcoming graduation.
May 28th- Grama Kay flies in. More shopping. Lots of pictures. Preparations continue for graduation.
May 30th- CR and Leslie blow up 186 balloons. Use of helium tank comes in handy. Graduation ceremony @ six.
June 1st- Grama flies home.
June 3rd- CR, Jess, and Tori fly home.
June 4th-17th- Relax. Work on WBLA booklets. Life goes on.
June 18th- Father's Day. Construct bookshelf with James to furnish Dad's new office. Cross fingers and hope he likes it. (He did.)
July 9th- attended Hopewell Crest Chapel. Made new friends.
July 13th- attended bible study at Viola's house. Thoughts provoked. Interest piqued.
July 23rd- attended Milmay. Watched Ray Comfort with Mrs. Davis and Derek. Dunkin Donuts. Milk. Ziggity.
July 24th- James left for Lancaster to teach Children's Institute. Manda, Danny and Mrs. Davis leave too.
Which brings me to today. |
